Circle of Harmony Dojo

Welcome!

The Circle of Harmony dojo is a non-profit organization offering training in the traditional Japanese martial arts of Aikido, Aiki Ju Jutsu and Ju Jitsu (Aiki Budo).

Our Aikido curriculum is based on Tomiki Ryu Aikido but we do not hold nor participate in competitions of any kind. Our Aiki Ju Jutsu techniques are from Kokon Ryu Bujutsu Renmei and Hakko Ryu. Our Ju Jitsu techniques are from Danzan Ryu and Small Circle Ju Jitsu. Rank promotions are awarded at our head instructor's discretion based on his assessment of a student's progress in training, recommendations from our senior instructors, and formal testing.

Participation in our classes does not require any special background, prior training, or physical ability. Male or female, young or young at heart, tall or short, lean or large, all are welcome. All students practice together regardless of rank and we all learn from each other. The only thing we require is respect for each other on and off the mat. Safety is of utmost importance to us and we try our best to ensure that everyone has a positive experience when they come to train with us.
